Fusion Airways Announces Initial Boeing 777-300ER Destinations

Airline to launch service to Tel Aviv, Israel; Rome, Italy and up-gauge London Heathrow Service.

San Mateo, CA March 28, 2016 (PRWEB) -- Fusion Airways was pleased to announce Monday the planned destinations for the launch of Boeing 777-300ER service when that aircraft joins the Fusion fleet in May, 2016. Fusion Airways will launch daily service to Tel Aviv, Israel and up-gauge New York to London Heathrow service to a Boeing 777-300ER. The airline will then utilize a Boeing 777-200 to inaugurate daily New York to Rome, Italy service. Fusion's international service has seen great success, with the airline reporting above an 84% average load factor for international destinations out of New York.

Fusion Airways announced in February the purchase of 4 Boeing 777-300ERs from India based Jet Airways and the aircraft were ferried for cabin modifications at locations across the globe. The airline will begin the process of ferrying these aircraft state side for repainting and preparation for a mid May entry into service. These aircraft will feature 42 Fusion Business+Signature lie flat suites and 307 Fusion+Plus Economy seats for a maximum capacity of 349 passengers. All seats will be equipped with Fusion's ZOOM! in flight entertainment system, industry leading legroom throughout Fusion+Plus Economy and signature chef inspired food creations.

Fusion Airways has also formally announced that it has petitioned with the United States Government to begin service to Saint Martin, Netherland Antilles; Aruba; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Nassau, Bahamas. Fusion Airways has not confirmed service to these destinations, however in the filing Fusion stated that this service would be flown with either Boeing 737-700 or Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The airline expects to release more details about spring and summer Caribbean routes within the next week.

Fusion Airways is expected to release a preliminary Summer 2016 timetable in late April.
